The Bandit - 30K Race March This race is TOUGH. Four famous trails are linked giving you incredible views of Simi Valley at the highest elevations. More details on this race will be published later.
The number of participants WILL BE LIMITED.

The Rancho Simi Trail Blazers is a volunteer organization consiting of bikers, equestrians, hikers and naturalists. They ar totally committed to the care and protection of Simi Valley's natural environment for the enjoyment of all.
Every year we host a 5K/10K Love Run at Rocky Peak's Trailhead. 100% of the proceeds go to the Trail Blazers.
Date: Saturday Feb 14th
Time: 8am
Place: Rocky Peak Trail Head
Cost: $20
Trail is steep and difficult. It's 2.4 miles to the TOP, making it a round trip of 4.8 miles. Dogs are welcome (on a leash, bring water and waste bags).

3rd Annual Run For Books!
January 1st - every year Yes, you can run a 5K or a 10K on the very first day of the New Year! What better way to prove to yourself that you ARE getting in better shape?!
This run benefits the Simi Valley Public Library 100%. All proceeds are donated to their Health and Fitness section.
2009 will mark the 3rd Annual Run For Books event.
Event will start at 8am at Marr Land Trail. 118 to Yosemite then go north to Evening Sky. Trailhead is 1/2 mile up on the left. Obey all parking signs.
The cost is $20.

Check the weather in the morning - it is normally a clear but windy day. We always recommend you dress in layers. Bring water!

The weather couldn't have been better.
All donations combined exceeded our highest ever and our goal - $415!
